About the Event

Join us for a CBD walking tour of Dubbo's architectural history buildings connected to local building firm Wallace and McGee.

From the mid-1920s to the early 1980s Wallace & McGee was at the centre of the construction industry in Western NSW and was responsible for the building of most of the iconic buildings throughout our community. Inspired by their legacy, this tour led by Education Officer Phil Aitken, will look at the larger Architectural Landscape of the city, highlighting examples of key moments of urban design and their historical precedents.

The tour will commence from the Western Plains Cultural Centre.
