About the Event

We’ve all seen the T.V show MASH, set during the Korean War, but outside of these TV antics what do we really know about the Korean War? How did Australia become involved in a bitter and bloody war, fought on the hillsides of what was known as the hermit kingdom?

This talk will explore how Cold War geopolitics and regional security concerns led to Australian soldiers again fighting on the distant shores of a faraway nation. And perhaps why the conflicts of the Cold War continue to influence world events today.

Following on from the Dawn Service, walk across the park and warm up with hot coffee and a breakfast roll at our annual Anzac Day Talk. Creo Cafe will be open from 6am.
