About the Event

Are you ready for a day of immersion and creativity in all things art, galleries and museum related?

These school holidays we are excited to announce that we will be opening the centre for 3 whole day programs aimed at school aged children from 5-13. Activities include stepping back in time for an experience of the classes and way of life in the early 20th century, morning tea and lunch and 1950s inspired games in our courtyard. An opportunity to experience and be inspired by our current exhibition 'Ceremony’ and two art workshops which may include pottery, painting, watercolours, drawing, mixed media, collage, or print making. We have designed our Art Camp to ensure that minds and souls are creatively inspired!

REGISTRATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Students must be enrolled in a school based program in 2024 to attend.
  • Each day will have different art workshops on offer. Please note that the daily program may vary, however each day will have two art workshops included.
  • Students will need to bring a labelled water bottle and hat, sunscreen, morning tea and lunch, and wear suitable attire for art making and activities outside - closed in shoes required (no thongs, sandles, crocs etc).
  • Parents/Guardians will be required to sign children in at drop off and sign out at pick up in the Community Arts Centre Art Studio. Sessions will begin promptly at 10:15am and participants are asked not to be dropped off before 10am. Collection is between 2:30 - 3pm. If you would like to collect your child sooner than 2:30pm, please contact us.
  • An enrolment form with emergency and medical information emailed to registered 123tix contact details will need to be returned before places can be confirmed.
  • A minimum of 10 participants per day will need to be registered in the week prior to the event for the day to proceed. You will be contacted if there are insufficient numbers to run on any of the days you have registered for, and a full refund provided.
  • Participants and their parents/guardians agree to adhere to respectful behaviour while in the care of our tutors, we reserve the right to call parents/guardians to collect their children and remove them from activities if this does not occur. No refunds will be provided in this circumstance.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be provided a refund or transfer/credit.
