Working around Dubbo’s natural landscapes and inspired by the Wynne Prize Collection exhibited at the Western Plains Cultural Centre, this year’s Drawn to the Centre will be led by local artists with experience en plein air (the outside) style of artmaking.

About the Event

Working around Dubbo’s natural landscapes and inspired by the Wynne Prize Collection exhibited at the Western Plains Cultural Centre, this year’s Drawn to the Centre will be led by local artists with experience in plein air (the outside) style of artmaking.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist yourself, come along and try your hand at sketching and drawing some of Dubbo’s most beautiful scenery.

- Dubbo Regional Botanic Gardens (3 & 17 November)

- New Macquarie River Pathway behind Ollie Robbins Oval (10 & 24 November)

Terms and Conditions

  • Limited seating and resources available
  • Under 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult
  • All Drawn to the Centre sessions will be outdoors, participants are advised to bring along sun safe items as well as insect repellent sprays.
  • In the case of cancellation due to bad weather/unexpected circumstances, registered participants will be contacted via phone and advised on social media.
  • Any personal information provided to the Western Plains Cultural Centre is protected under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act, 1998 (PIPA).
