About the Event

Join us for a special Handmade session with Kintsugi Australia in a Modern Kintsugi Workshop.

Our modern Kintsugi method was developed by a Master Jun fully trained in traditional Japanese Kintsugi techniques, making the art of repair accessible and easy for everyone using modern materials such as epoxy.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of embracing the beauty of imperfection, participants will learn how broken ceramics can be transformed into something uniquely beautiful.

All materials used in the workshop can be sourced within Australia, allowing participants to continue enjoying Kintsugi at home after the class.

As epoxy glue and related materials are used, the workshop is not recommended for pregnant women or those who are highly sensitive to chemicals.

Please note that the gold used in this workshop is not pure gold and plate pattern depends on availability.
