About the Event
Textiles can tell us intimate stories about the hidden, domestic lives of the past. So often connected to coming of age, marriage and the body, textile collections are some of the most illustrative of Women’s history. These collections can tell us much of the hopes and realities of women’s lives lived and remain a tangible connection to practical and creative lives of women.
Join Kent Buchanan as he examines the range of textiles in the WPCC Collection.
A light lunch will be available.
