Printmaking with Tim Winters

In conjunction with the NGA touring show 'Spowers and Syme' currently on display, the WPCC is hosting a weekend workshop with renowned print artist Tim Winters.

Tim is based in Stuart Town, NSW and works across a range of artistic practice including printmaking, painting, sculpture and graphic design. He has also conducted teaching residencies in Australia, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal and the UK.

This workshop will explore cutting and etching lino, and printing, both in relief (from the surface) and intaglio (from the background) and sometimes both.

The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday 14 and 15 May.

The cost is $90 per person which includes all materials.

Please dress in comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a bottle of water.

There will be a lunch break from 12.00 to 1.00 each day. Creo Café will be open if you wish to purchase lunch or bring your own and have a picnic in the WPCC grounds.
