About the Event
During the April school holidays, young people aged 15-19 can participate in a series of workshops inspired by Zanny Begg’s exhibition These Stories Will Be Different. Led by Andrew Tarry from the Newcastle Writers Festival, these sessions will delve into themes like identity, diversity, migration, and inequality to encourage reflection on life in rural New South Wales. The contributions made during the workshops will culminate in an e-zine published on the Western Plains Cultural Centre’s website.
This is a short course. Students must be able to attend all dates.
14th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd April.
10am - 12pm
Participants are encouraged to bring their own device (tablet, laptop) however it is not essential.
