This professional development program provides emerging regional artists with the opportunity to work with the WPCC Curatorial team to extend their practice and benefit from mentoring sessions on a range of possible areas with the end result being an exhibition of their work in a high profile exhibition space. Artists from regional NSW are invited to submit a proposal that outlines their exhibition ideas and example images.  Successful artists will have a minimum of twelve months to work closely with the curatorial team to realise their exhibition for the WPCC.

HomeGround is a partnership between WPCC, Orana Arts and Wingewarra Dental.

Applications close 5pm Friday 18th of October 2019.

PREPARING YOUR APPLICATION

It is requested that the exhibition contain at least 50% new work i.e. proposals featuring ONLY previously completed work or previously exhibited work will be deemed ineligible. The aim of HomeGround is to provide the opportunity for artists to collaborate with a curator to develop their exhibition. It is a requirement of entry into this program that you have discussed your proposal with your respective Regional Arts Development Officer (RADO). If you do not have a RADO please indicate this on application form. You are also welcome to discuss your application with a curator from the WPCC.
