Oral History Project
Home to our unique collection of photographs, books, maps and documents related specifically to the Dubbo and the surrounding region. The collection has been developed over 60 years and is available to the public for research purposes within the Local Studies Research Room (see visit) This research and the collection help shape our museums exhibitions throughout the year.

Joe Smith
President of the Show Society for over 40 years, Mr Smith tells us about his love of the show and giving back to the community.

Sadie runs a Not for Profit support group for teens. Growing up in Wellington she tells us about life as a rural teen.

Betty Barrow
Writer Betty Barrow was born in Dubbo and has stayed in the regions to create her popular novels.

Lucus French
Owner of Coffee Shop, Lucus has called Dubbo home for 15 years, he tells us about the creative food scene of the region
